When I first met Brianna and Ernesto, it was clear that their love story was something truly special. They met at a graduation party—one of those serendipitous moments where fate steps in and changes your life forever. Introduced through mutual friends (her friend was dating his cousin), their connection was instant. As their relationship grew, it was easy to see that this was a love meant to last.
The Journey to "I Do"
Their wedding day was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and the city that holds so much meaning for them—Miami. They chose three iconic venues that each represented a different facet of their relationship: the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, the serene Church of the Little Flower, and the versatile Villa Veintiseis.
The day began at the Biltmore Hotel, a venue that I’ve always loved for its timeless elegance and stunning architecture. It’s not just a beautiful place to get ready; it’s a Miami landmark that carries a sense of history and grandeur. For Brianna, it was the perfect setting to prepare for one of the most important days of her life. Watching her get ready in that space, surrounded by her closest friends and family, was truly special.
Their ceremony took place at the Church of the Little Flower, a place that holds deep significance in Coral Gables. The church’s beautiful setting provided a sacred space for Brianna and Ernesto to exchange their vows, surrounded by their loved ones. I could feel the love in the room as they looked into each other’s eyes, making promises that would carry them through a lifetime together.
A Family-Focused Celebration
One thing that stood out to me about Brianna and Ernesto’s wedding was how deeply family-focused it was. Their son, Ernesto IV, was at the heart of the day—a reminder of the life they’ve built together and the future they’re creating as a family. From the very beginning, they made it clear that their priority was to capture the day candidly and authentically. They wanted to be present, to focus on their family and friends, and to enjoy every moment.
The reception at Villa Veintiseis was everything they hoped it would be—fun, energetic, and full of joy. Villa Veintiseis is such a versatile space, and it allowed everyone to spread out, relax, and truly enjoy the festivities. The décor was simple yet elegant, with white and green florals that complemented the venue’s natural beauty perfectly. One of my favorite personal touches was the table numbers, named after the Florida Keys where some of their family is from. It’s details like these that make a wedding day so uniquely personal and memorable.
And then there were the ladybugs. On their very first date, two ladybugs landed on their shoulders—a sign, perhaps, that their love was meant to be. To honor that moment, Brianna and Ernesto had two ladybugs on their wedding cake, a sweet and sentimental nod to the beginning of their love story.
Unforgettable Moments
From the traditional Catholic mass at the Church of the Little Flower to the high-energy reception at Villa Veintiseis, the day was filled with moments that truly captured who Brianna and Ernesto are as a couple. One of the highlights of the reception was Oraloka, an LED man on stilts who added a fun and unique twist to the evening. Watching Brianna and Ernesto let loose on the dance floor, surrounded by their loved ones, was such a joy to capture.
I always try to let the moments breathe, to capture the day as it naturally unfolds without too much interference. There were so many great, unexpected moments, like when Brianna’s veil fell out as she walked back up the aisle, or when she was sipping on a Chick-fil-A cup during the reception—a cute and spontaneous moment that really showed her fun personality.
Working alongside their photographer, we were able to capture every key moment despite the tight timeline. Whether it was the getting-ready shots at the Biltmore or the candid moments at Villa Veintiseis, every part of the day was documented in a way that felt true to who Brianna and Ernesto are.
A Lasting Impression
Brianna and Ernesto’s wedding was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. It was a celebration of their love for each other, their family, and the city that brought them together. As I look back on the footage, I’m reminded not just of the day they said “I do,” but of the incredible love story that led them to that moment.
I’m so honored to have been a part of their special day and to have captured their love in a way that they can look back on for years to come. Their story is one of my favorites, and I hope that when you read this, you can see a little bit of your own love story in theirs.
